SCRI_Acryl advisory committee meeting was held on Wed (Jan 8th) at the 2014 Potato Expo in San Antonio, TX. Around 30 growers/processors attended the chip session meeting, and around 15 researchers/processors attended the fry session meeting.
Agreement was achieved that NFPT needed to be continued for another 3 years since potato breeders highly apprecited NFPT as the opportunity for local breeding lines to be tested nationwide. Research proposal about NFPT will be modified and submitted soon.
