The two day event was a combination of program updates, discussions on program improvements and review of the NFPT clones by area. This year we were able to have every plot harvested and shipped to East Grand Forks before the meeting (weather doesn’t always allow this) providing the group the opportunity to review 70 different clones across 6 trial sites. Great work on the part of all the program cooperators. The industry was well represented with a mix of processors, researchers, breeders, state managers, extension agents, growers, USDA/ARS representatives and program management. A tremendous thank you again to Chuck Gunnerson and his team as well as Jeff Suttle and Marty Glynn and their team.
